Magda Magic Piskorczyk: a combination of blues, jazz, gospel, soul and world music in a deeply personal and authentic manner. The polish artist comes for the first time in Romania at Brasov Jazz & Blues Festival, that will take place between 14-17 August.
With a strong voice and an unmistakable style, Magda Magic Piskorczyk is an electrifying presence on the european music scene.
Along the career, it was 3 or nominated to the FryDeryk award Awards, the most important and prestigious prize of the polish phonographic industry, in the category of the album of the year („Magda Live”, "Afro Groove" and "Mahalia") and divided the scene with legends like Bob Margolin or Billy Gibson.
Magda is known for intense live interpretations, full of passion and energy, but also for the ability to play at multiple instruments.
Nicknamed in France "the black voice in the white suit ", was appointed by 9 or the vocalist of the year and was semi -finalist at the prestigious International Blues Challenge (Memphis, YOUR).
Her shows electriates: between joy, melancholy and depth, Magda creates a real connection with the public - with humor, energy and sincere emotion. Her music is unique, original and magical.
