Polish participation at the Film and History Festival in Râșnov includes, masterpiece of mute cinema with black pole in the main role, live accompanied by the music of the Amphitrio band, the feature film "white courage", the documentary "My world of gray" and the exhibition "Polish and Romanian who have changed the world" are the polish elements in this year's edition of the Film and History Festival, that will take place between 8-24 August.
This festival runs in several locations, including Râșnov, Brașov and Feldioara, and focus on movies and history.
The festival (FTIR) appeared in the year 2009 from the desire to capitalize on an important chapter of local and world cinema, but also from the need to produce in the Romanian public space discussions about themes whose temporal impact exceeds the ephemerality of the moment..
