A new polish military contingent, deployed within the South-East NATO Multinational Brigade in Craiova

On 12 February 2024, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland, Janusz Szalinski participated polish military contingent in Craiova where he gave a speech in the presence of the guests.

The command transfer took place between the 13th and 14th rotation of PKW Romania, Major Damian Gronek solemnly handed over the flag of the Republic of Poland with the emblem of Poland on the pole to the new commander – Major. Daniel Grabowski. The ceremony was honored by distinguished polish guests such as the polish ambassador in Romania, Mr. Paweł Soloch, defense attache col. Arkadiusz Kobielak, and the operational commander of the armed forces was represented by Brigadier Mirosław Polakow. Also, responded to the invitation, among others: major general Dorin Toma – Commander of the International Division South – Est and the General Gabriel Oros – Brigade Commander 61 Mountain Hunters "General Virgil Bădulescu" and many others.

Commander of the 13th rotation, who passed his duties, thanked them for their cooperation and awarded with commemorative medals, throats and diplomas to the people that PKW Romania could always count on, while the new commander of the 14th rotation ensured that international cooperation would continue.
