In Poland as in Romania, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are a special time, probable, the most loved and most awaited time of the year.
For poles, traditions and especially holidays are particularly important, being passed down from one generation to another and surviving the trials and historical dramas that have plagued Poland throughout history.
Christmas is also called the family holiday, being the occasion when everyone comes together- parents, kids, grandchildren, give themyself gifts, traditional caroling, they enjoy the moments spent together around the table, with the belief that by properly honoring the holidays they will have a richer year.
